Lecturers & Students of the Faculty of Pharmacy & Health Sciences of UniKL RCMP won the “Gold Medal” in the “International Invention, Innovation & Technology Exhibition (ITEX 2018)” held from the 10th to 12th of May 2018 at KLCC, Kuala Lumpur.
ITEX 2018 is Asia’s Leading & Prestigious Invention Exhibition and also the region’s most recognized International Invention and Innovation Expo. This year’s exhibition showcased over 1000 inventions and innovations by local and International participants from 19 Countries.
The team comprised Dr Mahendran Sekar as the Project Leader, and Mr Ganesh Sundaram Subramanian, Mr Vengata Subramani Manoharan, Mdm. Nur Shakila Othman, Miss. Phan Ai Yean as Co-Researchers while Miss. Afikaah Sha An Ali and Miss. Fouzia Hanim Abdul Halim from Bachelor of Pharmacy (Final Year) were the students involved in the research. The team won the Gold Medal for the invention entitled “Novel and Natural UsG – A Green and Effective Technique Used in Medical and Paramedical Fields”.
