A piece of advice from Dr Salehuddin to the youngsters interested in a career as a paediatrician. “This field is rewarding spiritually and morally. As a paediatrician, we treat both, kids and their parents. Love kids unconditionally, be patient and be willing to work odd hours. Good interpersonal skills are also important criteria to be a good paediatrician. All those skills could be obtained through training and clinical exposure, but to love children unconditionally is an important part of the job.”
As a former medical student of PCM, Dr Salehuddin strongly believes that a good track record, excellent medical labs and facilities, experienced lecturers as well as good hospital attachment opportunities make UniKL RCMP an excellent medical college.
